As we announced recently Seth Lakeman’s ‘Tales from the Barrel House’ was available for pre-order from today. It is going to be a strictly limited deluxe digipak edition with each copy numbered and, originally, the first 1,000 copies sold to be signed by Seth.
As you can imagine, fans were keen to snap up those 1000 copies and were all set to press the button at 10.00am, no doubt many were hiding from their bosses eye! However, the eager fans that descended with rapid mouseclicks created too much web traffic for Seth’s site which then keeled over and crashed…As a result all pre-orders placed before midnight tonight will be signed…I think he’ll be busy signing for some time!
Seth had this to say:
“I am completely overwhelmed by the response this morning with so many of you trying to pre-order the new album that my website crashed! The signed copies have already been snapped up so I have decided to extend this to sign every copy that is pre-ordered before midnight tonight.”
