Back in September we introduced you to the London-based folk band Bard. They have a lot to celebrate this week as has been announced that they have been added to the Celtic Connections line-up and will complete the triple-bill at The Arches, supporting KAN and Guidewires on Friday, January 27.
Since the recent release of their three-track sampler EP, in advance of album launch at the Celtic Connections show, they have been picking up airplay from across BBC radio including Iain Anderson at BBC Radio Scotland, Mairead MacLennan at BBC Radio nan Gaidheal and Genevieve Tudor at BBC Radio Shropshire.
Looks like 2012 could be their year.
