The War On Drugs are set to return to these shores in early 2012 for seven dates, including their biggest London show yet at Camden’s Electric Ballroom on Tuesday February 28.
The Philadelphia quartet’s most recent visit earned plaudits from sources like The Guardian, plus their own dedicated comic strip in The Stool Pigeon (see below).
To round off this breakthrough year, The War On Drugs will issue a new single from their hugely acclaimed ‘Slave Ambient’ opus released on Secretly Canadian over summer. Single ‘Come To The City’ b/w ‘Don’t Fear The Ghost’ will be out December 5th on seven inch vinyl and digital formats. The latter song is exclusive to this release.
