Beth Jeans Houghton & The Hooves of Destiny have unveiled the official video for their new single ‘Liliputt’ which was directed by her artist brother Ben. Set for release on Mute Records on 14th November, ‘Liliputt’ is taken from forthcoming debut album ‘Yours Truly, Cellophane Nose’ which has been recorded with Ben Hillier (Blur, Elbow, Doves) and is due for release in early 2012.
‘Liliputt’ is the follow up to ‘Dodecahedron’ which received support from Radio 1 earlier in the summer alongside Beth’s involvement with BBC Introducing.
Beth and her band, The Hooves Of Destiny, recently completed a mini UK tour which culminated in a packed out show at The Lexington last week. They’ll celebrate the release of ‘Liliputt’ with a homecoming show at the Cluny in Newcastle on 26th October.
