Marissa Nadler is back in London next week for her first gig in the capital in over two years. Having spent the summer playing gigs across the US and Canada with the likes of Timber Timbre and Sharon Van Etten, she begins her latest European tour with a headline show at Bush Hall on October 4th.
To mark the occasion she has shared a cover of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Winter Lady’, free to download. The track will form part of her second volume of home-taped covers, which is being whittled down from 30+ recordings. “It’s simple and lo-fi, like the whole volume will be,” says Marissa. “This song is fitting considering the transitory nature of my life recently.”
