I’ve gone a bit more alternative this week with our selection of videos. We have O’Death from a session they did in Germany and Alessi’s Ark, from her new album ‘Time Travel’. I also go local to us with a Bristol based non-folk band: Zun Zun Egui, their members Kushal Gaya and Yoshino Shigihara first met at an improv session at notorious DIY cinema The Cube Microplex which we love for their coverage of the alternative. That’s them in the picture above…couldn’t resist!
We have Sigur Ros who are very much in the news right now with their new project. I ended up selecting this one following a comment from a friend who noticed the comparison between the new Bon Iver video I posted last night and this one which she recommended, so thanks to Ciara. The next is from Tasseomancy who have a new album out in September. I used to play their music under their older name, Ghost Bees. The final couple are from a french artist called Horla Patrie which includes a great Woodkid cover….
Plus we have tracks from AA Bondy, Tenderfoot and Megafaun!
O’Death – Bugs
Alessi’s Ark- Maybe I Know
Zun Zun Egui – Fandango Fresh
Sigur Ros – Glosoli (apologies for the advert, the only one I could embed, surprise!)
Tasseomancy – Diana
Horla Patrie – Wasteland (Woodkid Cover)
Horla Patrie – 6bis rue Des Hormets-Spring Ting #1
