Sarah McQuaid is just back from Ireland, where she finished recording and mixing her new album.
It’s a bit of a departure from my previous solo CDs in that the emphasis this time round is on my own original songs – nine of them in all, including three that I co-wrote with producer Gerry O’Beirne, plus three pieces from the 13th-16th centuries and a cover of John Martyn’s ‘Solid Air’.
I’m still looking for help from a sponsor to fund the finished production, and in the meantime I’m scaling back a bit for the next couple of months in preparation for the next onslaught of touring this autumn.
If you can help sponsor to fund the finished production then please contact her through her site
