Back in March this year we introduced you to a new band called Balto. Their debut album ‘October’s Road‘ made an instant impression on us. Lead singer and guitarist, Daniel Sheron, abandoned his life in Moscow, Russia and went alone into Siberia and against an ever shifting backdrop of railways and desolate wastes, he wrote a cycle of songs to tell the story of what had happened in that strange country, why he had exiled himself, and why he thought it mattered.
The band recently released this video for the track Kirov Factory. The live band footage is from an appearance at Arlene’s Grocery which is located in NYC’s trendy Lower East Side in what was once a Puerto Rican bodega. Enjoy!
