The Phoenix Foundation hail from New Zealand and have been purveying their own brand of psychedelic pop which has been catching the interest of the British press. Their album ‘Buffalo’ which is out now on Memphis Industries has been declared by The Guardian as “An album that already seems destined to be among the best of 2011”. They will be appearing at Glastonbury, Larmer Tree and Lovebox Fests to name just a few.
They also have some talented folks working on their videos although I wouldn’t like to cross this lot from their latest video whilst out walking the dog along the beach:
