Diagrams are the latest signing to Full Time Hobby, home of Timber Timbre and Erland and the Carnival. Their self-titled 5 track debut EP will be released on CD and digitally on 11th July in the UK.
Diagrams offer crisp, minimalist pop with sharp production and programming. From the brass and string-laden skip of ‘Antelope’ (listen below) to the Tom Waits-meets-funk trombone in ‘Hill’ and the sweetly acoustic ‘Icebreakers’, this is a new, playfully eclectic side to the singer-songwriting tradition, full to the brim of colourful and impressionistic lyrical imagery.
