The much loved Emily and the Woods, who was our first session on the station almost a year ago now, is due to release her new EP titled ‘Eye to Eye’ on May 4th. You can watch her new video for Steal His Heart below which features a mammoth chase by a postman from London to Brighton!
The track features Ted Dwane (Mumford & Sons) on double bass as well as Emily’s dad and brother, Patrick and Benedict Wood, and drummer Roy Dodds (Fairground Attraction, Eddi Reader).
To celebrate the release of the EP on May 4th Emily is having a launch party at The North London Tavern, 375 Kilburn High Road. Although this is a taster the EP is something extra special with backing vocals as well as a brass section from Marcus Hamblett (The Wilkommen Collective) so make sure you don’t miss this folks!
