Despite hailin’ from Nashville, Tennessee, Caitlin Rose is becoming very much a British sensation. Since the release of her 7-track 2008 EP, Dead Flowers
, she has won the charm of many new fans in the UK with her own brand of indie / country / pop with a nod to Patsy Cline and Loretta Lynn. Her debut album Own Side Now
, was released by Names Records in August 2010 and since then she has shot to the top of the pile.
She has a lot to pleased about and her recent announcement of some of her biggest headline shows to date is testament to her talent as well as her popularity in the UK. She will be playing the Scala on June 21 ahead of a raft of not-to-be-missed festival dates, including Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, Latitude, Bestival and End of the Road.
