Robin Pecknold of Fleet Foxes has just released three tracks recorded with Noah Georgeson for public consumption which he describes as mellow jams. One includes a great duet with Ed Droste of Grizzly Bear. The other two are a solo jam and cover of Where is my Wild Rose which sounds just like the 1974 version by New Zealand singer/Songwriter Chris Thompson. You can download them below:
Pecknold announced the tracks on twitter after saying he didn’t know how else to disseminate them. Noah Georgeson is a Nevada City based artist who first found success as a part of San Francisco band The Pleased, along with fellow member Joanna Newsom.
