Country rock five-piece Ahab will be performing a showcase set in Camden, London, on Sunday 5 September. Entry to the gig is free and everyone’s welcome.
Ahab recently stole the show at Cropredy festival performing to a crowd of nearly 20,000 people. A track from their soon-to-be-released EP featured on Bob Harris’s BBC Radio 2 show last Saturday and they are booked for a live session on Bob’s show soon.
The band’s take on alt-country features stunning harmonies and virtuoso instrumental work, the laid-back vibe tempered by an indie edginess. Listen out for some breathtaking guitar from Callum Adamson.
Ahab are going places – and this Sunday you can join them on the journey. The venue is The Golden Lion, 88 Royal College Street, Camden. The postcode is NW1 OTH if you’ve got satnav, or ten minutes walk from Camden tube station if you haven’t. Ahab will take the stage at 7pm but get there in good time.
